Environmental Eats

CSU’s Housing & Dining Services hold Environmental Eats five times throughout the year at Corbett Lobby’s Teaching Kitchen. The mission of the program is to promote more sustainable food choices and knowledge about where food originates and how small choices can have large impact on food systems.

Since its introduction in 2018, Environmental Eats have attracted hundreds of on-campus residents to learn about sustainable dining. Different themes of the program include sustainable seafood, insect diet, food grown on-campus, honey and blended mushroom burgers.

In preparation of Environmental Eats, I was responsible for the creation of Instagram and Facebook stories used to promote the event and educate students on sustainable dining.
